Author Interview: André Brun
Tonight we're talking with André Brun, author of Lies and Deception.
Hi André! Please tell us about your current project:
I am currently writing Lies and Deception. I would say it is a blend with The DaVinci Code and American Horror Story: Asylum. I will be putting it through editing near June. Right now focusing on finishing my crowdfunding campaign, then all my energy will be on finishing Lies and Deception to deliver the best possible book in it's genre.
Summarize your book in ten words or less:
Fear of discovering the truth or fear of discovering lies.
How would you classify your book’s genre? Or would you say it defies genre?
Dark Sci-Fi. It is a blend with a dark thriller and a Sci-Fi book.
What have you learned about yourself, your book, and/or self-promotion since joining Inkshares?
It is hard. No seriously; I expected the campaign to be hard, but it is much harder than I thought. I should not have waited sooo long to ask questions\advice from other fellow authors on Inkshares. But it's so rewarding at the same time.
Do you have any advice for aspiring writers out there?
The best advice I have is NEVER GIVE UP. Oh yeah and also always listen to tips and advice other authors give you. Well it worked for me ;)
Coffee or tea?
Coffee. Extra Large from Tim Horton's. And if I could have the option to have it plugged into my veins I would take it ;). Did I say I am lacking sleep?
